New Business Development Consultants are responsible for new business
development in their assigned territory. The primary focus is acquisition of
new business, promoting company sales promotions, and reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect decision makers with the ability to probe for business and procurement needs
- Quickly offer solutions to opportunities discovered during dialogue with potential customer
- Good listening skills and consistently moves customer towards commitment
- Attain or exceed measurable business objectives and goals on a monthly basis
Must-have Qualifications:
- Track record of turning personal initiative and drive for success into business results
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and initiate action in a timely manner.
- Proven ability to effectively balance prospecting and follow-up to attain desired results
- High adaptability and able to "sell" change
- Strong oral communication and phone skills
